Lake Havasu man bowls perfect game
For the first time ever, longtime Lake Havasu City resident Van Finney bowled a perfect 300 game. It happened during the Tuesday Night Mixed League at Havasu Lanes.
Finney said he has come close to a perfect game several times in past years and joked that “Havasu Lanes finally put down the right oil pattern.” Finney has bowled in the Tuesday Nite Mixed League for over 23 years. Previous honors include winning the Men's Marathon in 1998 and he was inducted into the Lake Havasu City Bowling Hall of Fame in 2008. Finney is also a member of Havasu Lanes Ambassadors.
