Teen accused of setting fire near Lake Havasu City
Fire investigators say a teenager is responsible for setting a brush fire Tuesday night in Lake Havasu City in western Arizona.
Lake Havasu City officials say a 14-year-old playing with a lighter accidentally ignited a discarded couch that had been left in a brushy area just south of the city's Rotary Park. Authorities say the teenager and other kids left after putting the fire out. However, windy conditions reignited the couch and nearby brush. The fire quickly spread and fire crews from Lake Havasu City and Desert Hills responded. Lake Havasu City fire investigators were able to identify the juveniles involved. The 14-year-old was referred to the Mohave County Juvenile Probation Department. Call or email us today and let GSX help your business to grow. Email: Click Here Phone: (928) 768-1400
