Illegal immigrant arrested at stop sign
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop Sunday morning at about 8:30 a.m. at Camino Colorado and Calle Del Media. A vehicle failed to stop at a posted stop sign at Calle Del Media and Camp Mohave.
Deputies contacted Carolina Vanesa Gondra-De Surf, 25, of Fort Mohave, the driver. She provided deputies with a Mexico driver’s license. With the assistance of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Gondra-De Surf was determined to be an illegal immigrant. Gondra-De Surf was taken into custody without incident and transported to Mohave County District II Substation where ICE, later took her into custody. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
