WARNING: Facebook users, do NOT click on email
I saw a warning on Phoenix channel 3. I looked in my email and there is was.
A new email is going around displaying from Facebook Networks. It states that your password has been changed and you need to click on an attachment and change your password. When you click on the attachment -- Congratulations! You have now installed a virus and malicious software into your computer. Your computer will now access your Facebook account, your email accounts, your address book, and will send the virus and malicious software to your family and friends both in your address book and on Facebook. If you have already received the email, like I have, and have not opened the attachment, STOP! (I did not open the attachment.) If you have already clicked on the attachment, I'm sorry. You need to immediately run your antivirus and anti-malicious software programs and hope you can clean your computer before any further damage is done. Anytime a company gets as big as Facebook, Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, etc., they become subject to many attacks. This time it is facebook. But you don't even have to be a Facebook user to get this email. If you get an email from Facebook with an attachment, just delete it.
