Felony shoplifting at K-mart
The Bullhead City Police Department arrested Anna Sue Abee, 32, for felony shoplifting, possession of stolen property, drug paraphernalia and an outstanding warrant.
On Monday, at about 11:30 a.m., police were called to K-mart for a reported shoplifter. Anna Abee had walked out of K-mart wearing 9 stolen tank tops and a shopping cart full of unpaid clothing. She was confronted by a Loss Prevention employee in the parking lot regarding the stolen items, which totaled $2,054. Abee also had an outstanding warrant from Bullhead City Municipal Court for failure to appear on a previous charge of shoplifting. A search of Abee’s vehicle in the K-mart parking lot revealed over $2,000 worth of stolen merchandise, including clothing, make up, shoes, books, purses and other items. At her residence on Hualapai Drive, police uncovered more stolen merchandise, worth approximately $2,000 from K-mart and other local stores. Many clothing items still had theft detection devices attached. Police found Abee to be in possession of a glass pipe at the time of her arrest. Drug paraphernalia was also found inside her vehicle and home. Abee was transported to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman. The investigation is ongoing.
