Plane down after not so smooth landing
On Wednesday 3.24 a plane encountered a rough landing at the Kingman Airport. The pilot and one passenger from Oregon were aboard and both walked away without injury.
The aircraft, a Cessna 170, was significantly damaged as a rough unstable landing put the plane into a drift to the right before the pilot over corrected, sending the small plane off the left side of the runway and into the safe dirt area, according to airport authorities. A portion of the landing gear collapsed, sinking the right side of the aircraft to the point where its wingtip scraped the desert before it came to rest. Federal authorities were notified of the incident. Put American workers back to work: Call or email us today and let GSX help your business to grow. Email: Click Here Phone: (928) 768-1400
