Grocery store officer holds shoplifter
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Rita Ann Delre, 28, of Needles, CA Tuesday afternoon for shoplifting, a felony.
At around 4:00 p.m. deputies responded to the Safeway grocery store located in the 4800 block of Highway 95. Deputies contacted the store’s Loss Prevention Officer who said he detained a female identified as Delre after she walked out of the store without paying for items. He said that Delre put over $300 worth of cosmetics into a gift bag and walked outside. Deputies took Delre into custody without incident and transported her to the Mohave County District II Substation.
