4 Shot, 1 Dead in shootout
Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting at the Silver Pines Apartments near Boulder Highway and Russell Road. Four people have been shot and one person has died.
Police say three people were shot at the apartment complex. A female victim was pistol-whipped and shot in the face. She fled to a friend's house and called 911. Medical units transported her to Sunrise Hospital in critical condition. When police arrived at the complex, they encountered the suspect and shot him. He was transported to Sunrise Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Officers found two other victims at the complex. One was shot several times and transported to Sunrise with critical injuries. Police found the third victim dead in the apartment complex parking lot. Police said the shooter is being treated at UMC. They said they are unsure what his motive may have been. There are numerous shell cases and blood trails at the scene that are still being investigated. Police said all of the victims and the shooter are in their 20s but declined to further describe them. They said the four people involved appeared to be related to one another, but it was not immediately clear how. Police also found a baby at the scene believed to belong to one of the victims. The child was not injured. A local elementary school was placed on lockdown, but that has since been lifted. Call or email us today and let GSX help your business to grow.
