Snakes, Bees and more Spring in the Spring 
As the weather warms up… snakes come out of hibernation. Saturday is the first day of spring and according to the Bullhead City Animal Control Center, snakes start to come out this time of year.
Here are some tips and information from Leah Rojas, Bureau Manager of the BHC Animal Control Shelter: · Snakes are usually out after the sun goes down when they are hunting. · Don’t give snakes a place to hide in your yard. Keep brush and shrubs away from your home and trim your plants. · Keep an eye out for snakes, especially while walking or hiking. · If you see a snake in the desert, leave it alone and do not approach it. · If a rattle snake is near your home or vehicle, call for professional help. Don't attempt it on your own. As of this writing we are watching news come thru about two women in Phoenix that are in critical condition and a man is hospitalized because they were attacked by bees. Bees and other bugs and reptiles are coming out this time of year. Use caution wherever you are and always look before you touch.
