$500 REWARD for your assistance identifying assault on good samaritan
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) involved in an assault on a Good Samaritan in Mohave Valley.
The incident occurred Saturday (4/24) evening during an event held in the parking lot of Vortex Board Shop located at 10185 S. Harbor Avenue where over 60 people attended. The Good Samaritan observed a couple bullies picking on teenagers when he intervened. The Good Samaritan became a victim when the suspects turned and attacked him. The Good Samaritan said he fell to the ground after he was hit in the head. The suspects continued attacking him by kicking him in the head as he was on the ground. Investigations determined that two male subjects were kicking the 43-year-old male victim while a third suspect punched the victim from behind.
At that time, deputies arrested one of the suspects identified as Sean Patrick Sullivan, 22, of Mohave Valley, for disorderly conduct – fighting, a misdemeanor. Witnesses reported seeing Sullivan and another male subject wearing a red t-shirt run up and hit people in the back of the head.
Mohave Valley Fire Department personnel responded and transported the victim to the Colorado River Medical Center in Needles, California. The victim was later airlifted to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas where he suffered a broken nose, broken eye socket and cheek and forehead fractures.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Deputy Ross at Mohave County Sheriff’s Office at 928-768-7055 or Silent Witness at 928-753-1234. A reward up to $500 has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the assault.
