UPDATE Thanks for media/public help in police fraud investigation
Thanks to the public and media’s assistance, the Bullhead City Police Department has identified a woman pictured in surveillance video who was fraudulently using a stolen bank card.
Recently, the Police Department requested the media’s help to publish and broadcast information regarding a credit card fraud/ residential burglary investigation in an attempt the public could help identify a suspect. Police received several tips from citizens after the photographs were printed in the local newspaper. 40-year-old Sandee Lynn Sisemore was identified as the suspect.
On Thursday, May 13th, detectives executed a search warrant into Sisemore’s residence, located in the 1800 block of Club House Drive. Officers located a glass meth pipe in the toilet bowl, in what police believe was an effort to flush it down the toilet before police entry.
On April 9th, a residential burglary occurred at the East Shore Villa Condos while the victims were sleeping. The suspect/s took a purse, containing several thousand dollars in cash, credit/ATM cards and vehicle keys, a Sony laptop, and stole a 2008 Ford F350 pickup that was parked in the driveway. Sisemore’s photograph was captured when she used a stolen bank card at an ATM on April 9th.
Sisemore was taken into custody on May 13th, but she requested medical attention. Sisemore was taken to WARMC hospital. A summons was requested for Sisemore for the following charges: Theft of a Credit Card, Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The case is still under investigation, as police believe more suspects are involved. If anyone has any further information, please contact Detective Jeremy Duvall at (928) 763-9200.
