Deputies determined that Lizarraga has never obtained a driver’s license. A record check showed Lizarraga to have a failure to appear misdemeanor warrant issued by Bullhead City Municipal Court. Lizarraga was taken into custody without incident.

With the assistance of Border Patrol, Lizarraga was determined to be an illegal immigrant. Lizarraga was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation. Border Patrol placed a hold on Lizarraga.

Lizarraga was also cited for false reporting to law enforcement, a misdemeanor. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
