Sheriff Joe Arpaio says SB1070 is NOT dead
Sheriff Joe said today that the judge's ruling on SB1070 does not strike down the new law. It only puts parts of it on hold.
SB1070 will still go into effect on Thursday as scheduled. Only certain parts of the law have been temporarily been suspended, pending further hearings in court. The sheriff said, "deputies are being briefed on SB1070 relative to the judge’s ruling today. In my jails, however, we will continue to investigate every person booked and if they are determined to be in the country illegally, they will be turned over to federal authorities (ICE)." "Anti-immigration protestors want amnesty and will taunt today that 1070 is dead. It is not," he added. Call or email us today and let GSX help your business to grow.
