Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Richard Teeples, 18, and Robert John Teeples Jr., 20, both of Fort Mohave on Monday evening.

Richard Teeples was arrested for aggravated assault and resisting arrest, felonies. Robert Teeples was arrested for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

At approximately 9:00 p.m., deputies responded to the area of Camp Mohave Road and Highway 95 regarding a fight. Deputies contacted the male victim, 29, who reported he had been assaulted by two male subjects.

Deputies observed the victim to have minor injuries but refused any medical treatment.

Based on the description of the suspects provided by the victim and a witness, deputies observed the suspects near Camp Mohave Road and Puerto Verde. Deputies contacted the suspects identified as Richard Teeples and Robert Teeples. Both suspects were taken into custody.

While Richard Teeples was being transported to the sub-station he threatened and spit at deputies.

Richard Teeples and Robert Teeples were transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Sub-station.
