Planning a camping trip this holiday weekend? You might want to check the list below of state parks and the current fire restrictions in place. Also noted are the state parks that are currently closed or have day-use restrictions.

Alamo Lake State Park - Campfires allowed in fire-rings. Smoking allowed in developed areas.

Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park - Charcoal and propane fires allowed in picnic area grills.

Buckskin Mountain State Park - Campfires allowed in grills. No smoking while hiking.

Catalina State Park - No Campfires. Charcoal and propane fires allowed.

Cattail Cove State Park - No Campfires. Charcoal allowed for cooking within a fire-ring or grill on the beach. Smoking in campsites and on the beach only.

Dead Horse Ranch State Park - Campfires allowed in fire-rings.

Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area - Fire restrictions during windy days. Call ahead regarding campfires.

Fort Verde State Historic Park - day-use only park; no fires

Homolovi Ruins State Park (Park Closed)

Jerome State Historic Park (Park Closed)

Kartchner Caverns State Park - No Campfires. Propane fires allowed. Smoking allowed in developed areas or vehicle. No smoking while hiking.

Lake Havasu State Park - Campfires allowed in fire-rings. Smoking allowed in camp area. No smoking while hiking.

Lost Dutchman State Park - Fires are allowed ONLY in BBQ grills or self-contained metal containers. Charcoal and propane fires allowed.

Lyman Lake State Park (Park Closed)

McFarland State Historic Park (Park Closed)

Oracle State Park - day-use only park; no fires

Patagonia Lake State Park - Campfires allowed in fire-rings. Smoking allowed in developed areas. No smoking while hiking.

Picacho Peak State Park - Campfires allowed in fire-rings. No smoking while hiking.

Red Rock State Park - No smoking while hiking.

Riordan Mansion State Historic Park - day-use only park; no fires

River Island - Campfires allowed in grills. No smoking while hiking.

Roper Lake State Park - Campfires allowed in fire-rings. Smoking allowed in developed areas or vehicle. No smoking while hiking.

Slide Rock State Park - No Campfires. No charcoal. No propane or gas. Smoking allowed in vehicles only.

Sonoita Creek State Natural Area - Campfires allowed in fire-rings. (At the three hike-in sites, campers may collect dead and down wood only.) No smoking while hiking.

Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park - day-use only park; no fires

Tonto Natural Bridge State Park (Open Select Weekends Only)

Tubac Presidio State Historic Park - day-use only park; no fires

Verde River Greenway State Natural Area - No Campfires.

Yuma Quartermaster Depot State Historic Park - day-use only park; no fires

Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park - day-use only park; no fires
