One person critical after 3 shot at gang party
Three people were shot early Thursday morning at a party hosted by gang members inside an abandoned house, police said.
The house is located in a gated community. Neighbors called police around 2:00 a.m. to report several gunshots at the home. Police reported that two of the shooting victims took themselves to separate hospitals, while the third was rushed by paramedics to University Medical Center in critical condition. It’s unknown whether there were more victims, but police said it’s possible due to the amount of gunfire reported at the house. According to the North Las Vegas CrimeView Community website, there have been 33 separate crimes reported in a one-mile radius surrounding Black Eyed Susan Court over the past 30 days. That includes 14 assaults, four burglaries and two fights.
