Man shot, killed by police
The man accused of shooting at Las Vegas Metro police officers outside a home on the valley’s northwest side has died. The man had no criminal history, authorities said Friday.
Jason Vanbuskirk, 27, was being treated at University Medical Center after an officer shot him in the chest. He was charged with three counts of attempted murder on a police officer and a count of attempted murder with a weapon after police said he fired two shots at a passing motorist on Applecrest Street. That motorist was not injured. Officers were called to the neighborhood after a woman reported her ex-boyfriend was outside her house with a gun. Police said when they arrived Vanbuskirk was waiting behind a truck to ambush the officers and fired several shots before he was hit. Call or email us today and let GSX help your business to grow.
