Drunk man damages vehicle and contents of home, hitting victim
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Carl David Organ, 41, of Mohave Valley, early Monday evening for criminal damage, felony, along with assault per domestic violence and disorderly conduct per domestic violence, misdemeanors.
At about 6:00 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 7800 block of Mockingbird Drive and contacted Organ standing outside of the residence. Organ appeared to be intoxicated. Deputies were contacted by two subjects exiting the residence; a female victim, 48, and a witness. The victim reported that Organ was drunk and he became enraged. The victim said that he damaged the air conditioner and threw a chair at their rented parked vehicle. She said that Organ hit her numerous times. Deputies observed the victim to have several large bumps on her forehead and forearm. Medical responded and transported the victim to Valley View Medical Center. The witness said Organ damaged items in the house while he chased the victim around the house and struck her in the face and on the back of the head. Deputies observed the vehicle to have a two foot dent and paint damage estimated at approximately $1,000.
