UPDATE: Armed robbery suspects identified, one in custody
The Bullhead City Police Department has made an arrest in the recent armed robbery at Jimmy’s Burgers. Vernon Louis Gutierrez, 28, of Bullhead City was charged with Armed Robbery on Saturday.
On Sunday, June 20th at about 8:00 p.m., police were called to an armed robbery at Jimmy’s Burgers, 900 block of Hancock Road, where a female employee and cook ran out the back door fearful for their lives. Through further investigation, Vernon Gutierrez was identified as the suspect who showed a handgun in his waistband to the employee and demanded money. The second suspect, who was the driver in the get-away vehicle, has also been identified. Charges on the second suspect will be forwarded to the County Attorney for review. Gutierrez remains at the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
