7.22 Mohave County - Early voting to begin next Thursday

Monday is the last day you can register to vote in the August primary election with early voting starting next Thursday, Friday in Kingman and Lake Havasu City. Voters in Bullhead City can cast their ballots starting on August 9th.

The elections department is seeking more poll workers throughout the county. The department says in just the Lake Havasu City area alone there are some 120 poll workers, but at least 200 are preferred.

To work the polls, residents must be registered to vote in Mohave County. Mandatory training is needed for each poll worker -- they can receive a total of $105 for both working during an election and attending training. Call the county elections department at 928.753.0733 for information.

The last day to register to vote in the November 2nd general election is October 4th. Early voting for the general election begins October 7th.
