MAGNET serves warrants, finds drugs, weapons, arrests four
MAGNET (Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team) recently served two narcotic search warrants on the homes of suspected local drug dealers.
On Tuesday 8.17 at about 11:00 a.m., MAGNET served a narcotic search warrant in the 1800 block of Artesia Drive in Bullhead City. Detectives located the resident, Daniel Wayne Kline, 22, in the bathroom flushing bags of methamphetamine in the toilet. A glass meth pipe with burnt residue was also retrieved from the toilet tank. A further search of the residence revealed additional bags of methamphetamine (useable amount), methamphetamine and marijuana pipes, two scales with meth residue, several empty baggies typically used to package drugs and a drug ledger documenting meth sales. Kline also had numerous text messages on his cell phone regarding meth sales. Daniel Kline was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence. Kline was booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman. A warrant has been requested for Kline’s roommate, Armando Zarate, 39, to be charged with possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. On Saturday 8.14 at about 10:30 p.m., MAGNET served a narcotic search warrant in the 2100 block of Emerald River Way in Fort Mohave. During the search, detectives located usable amounts of methamphetamine and marijuana, three hand guns, prescription-only pills and numerous drug paraphernalia items including pipes, a scale, and bong. The couple, Luke Clayton Martin, 22, and Brandi Marie Castro, 27, were both arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of prescription-only narcotics and misconduct involving weapons.
