Police arrest family of 5 finding 2 pounds of marijuana and cash in home
The Bullhead City Police Department arrested 5 family members after police found approximately 2 pounds of marijuana inside their home.
At 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, officers from the Bullhead City COPPS (Community Oriented Policing Problem Solving) Unit served a search warrant in the 1100 block of Avenida Del Sol. During a search of the residence, officers located 31 ounces of marijuana, over $5,000 in cash, believed to be from drug sales, and several drug paraphernalia items including a scale, bongs, pipes, packaging material and a pay/owe drug sheet. Steven Alton McMinton, 56, was arrested for possession of marijuana for sale, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Steven McMinton’s wife; Abbey Gail McMinton, 45, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Steven’s sister; Judith Sturgeon, 50, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia Abbey McMinton’s sons were also arrested; William Stembridge, 23, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her son, 16, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. The juvenile was cited and released. All other suspects were transported to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
