8.02 Golden Shores - Woman arrested for possession of drugs and suspended license

Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Eileen Gail Castle, 47, of Topock, early Saturday morning for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies.

At about 3:45 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 5000 block of Highway 95 and contacted Castle, the driver. A record check showed Castle to have a suspended driver’s license.

A Fort Mohave Tribal Officer with a K-9 responded and conducted a vehicle search. The K-9 alerted his handler to the interior area of the vehicle.

A search of Castle’s purse revealed a glass pipe with burnt white residue. Deputies found Castle to be in possession of a plastic bag containing marijuana.

Castle was taken into custody without incident. She was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
