8.31 Meadview - Australian tourists die in head-on collision

Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two vehicle injury accident that occurred on Diamond Bar Road at milepost .5, near Pierce Ferry Road, Monday morning.

At about 10:45 a.m. deputies responded to the scene of where a Dodge Charger passenger vehicle and a Ford F350 truck were involved in a head on collision.

The Dodge was traveling east on Diamond Bar Road when the vehicle crossed over the center stripped line and collided with the Ford which was traveling westbound.

The Dodge Charger was driven by Hector Anstis, 69, with a front passenger of Graeme Mann, 69.

All four occupants in the Dodge Charger were wearing seatbelts and are tourists from Australia.

Both men were airlifted to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas in critical condition by Care Flight. Both rear seated passengers did not survive the accident and are identified as Annette Anstis, 67, and Robyn Mann.

The driver of the truck identified as Angela Hazelton, 47, of Kingman was transported via an ambulance to Kingman Regional Medical Center.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene. This accident remains under investigation.
