MAGNET executes Labor Day drug arrests
Over $80,000 worth of meth was taken off Bullhead City streets this Labor Day Holiday weekend after MAGNET (Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team) served narcotic search warrants.
On Friday, at 12:30 p.m., MAGNET executed a search warrant into a suspected drug ‘stash house’ in the 1500 block of Paseo Grande. Police found approximately 1 ½ pounds of methamphetamine, an estimated street value of $80,000. The suspects are still outstanding but have been identified. Their names will be released once arrested. On Monday, at 9:30 a.m., MAGNET executed a search warrant and arrested Damon Dexter Griffin, 47, for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia. A search into Griffin’s home, 1400 block of Tonto Drive, revealed approximately 3 grams of methamphetamine, a scale, drug ledger documenting drug transactions, baggies typically used in packaging meth for sale and other drug paraphernalia, including meth pipes. Griffin was booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman. On Monday, at 1 p.m., MAGNET executed a search warrant into a suspected drug dealer’s home, located in the 2000 block of Rio Grande Road. The target, Sherry Lynn Bebeau, 47, was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of narcotic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. A total of approximately 8 grams of methamphetamine, prescription medication (Percocet pills) not prescribed to Bebeau and drug paraphernalia items, including a scale, drug ledger, pipe and a syringe loaded with meth, were located. Bebeau’s roommates were also arrested; Paul Anthony Hermann, 50, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and Charles Dwight Guy, 53, (Bebeau’s boyfriend) was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
