Burglars hit same residence as earlier this month, taking surveillance cameras
Bullhead City Police detectives arrested Christopher Allen Bennett, 19, and Jose Robert Rodriquez, 23, for committing a burglary at the same residence where a home invasion occurred earlier this month. See previous story.
On Friday at 9:30 a.m., Bennett and Rodriquez of Fort Mohave, AZ, entered the victim’s fenced yard on Meander Drive and stole one of his outside surveillance cameras. Police believe the two suspects stole the camera to limit the victim’s household security. The two brothers who are wanted in connection with the January 14th home invasion are still outstanding. Deangelo and Michael Williams entered the 41-year-old victim’s home and robbed him at gun and knife point. The Williams brothers also pointed a gun at the victim’s 15-year-old daughter when she tried to stop them. The victim has since received threats via telephone for going to police. Detectives were able to identify Bennett and Rodriquez from another surveillance home video that caught the two committing the burglary. The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office assisted in arresting Bennett and Rodriquez in Fort Mohave, Friday afternoon. Bennett was arrested for burglary, possession of stolen property, prohibited possessor, resisting arrest and an outstanding felony warrant for a probation violation (original burglary charge). Bennett was found to be in possession of .22 caliber revolver hand gun. Rodriquez was arrested for burglary, possession of stolen property and possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia. Rodriquez had a useable amount of methamphetamine and a glass meth pipe in his pocket. They will be taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman Friday night. If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Michael Lorenzo Williams, 23, or Deangelo Williams, 20, please contact the Bullhead City Police Department at (928) 763-9200 and ask to speak to Detective Brandon Grasse. Or, text keyword BHCTIPS, followed by your anonymous tip to 847411 (TIP411).
