Roadside memorial stolen
Loved ones of Larissa Castilleja, a Mohave High School teacher who was killed by a drunk driver while riding her bicycle in 2009, reported her roadside memorial was damaged and a cross was stolen on the Bullhead Parkway, just south of Oatman Road.
The large purple cross was taken sometime last week. Police discovered the memorial had been damaged and a part of the cross was broken and left behind. The cross was constructed of plywood and concrete and was not located in the surrounding area. If anyone has any information about this theft/criminal damage, please contact the Bullhead City Police Department at (928) 763-9200. Or, text keyword BHCTIPS, followed by your anonymous tip to TIP411 (847411).
