Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Alicia Rose Southard, 34, of Fort Mohave, early Monday morning for assault per domestic violence and disorderly conduct per domestic violence, misdemeanors.

At about 12:30 a.m., deputies responded to a domestic violence incident at a residence in the 1500 block of Gran Circulo. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the reporting party, a male victim, age 42.

Deputies observed a scratch above the victim’s right eye which was bleeding. The victim refused medical treatment.

The victim reported that Southard, his wife, became upset as he was talking on the telephone. The victim further reported that Southard pushed his head into a wall. The victim advised that Southard left the residence.

Shortly thereafter, deputies located Southard at the intersection of Camp Mohave and La Calazda.

During conversations with Southard, she said that she was in an argument with her husband and she decided to leave for the night. Southard advised that she attempted to grab the phone from her husband and she scuffled with him.

Southard was taken into custody without incident. She was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
