Man and woman arrested for burglary

Mohave Valley - At about 9:00 p.m. on Monday 11/16, Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a burglary in progress in the 8000 block of Harquahala Drive. While enroute, the reporting party advised that the white Suburban was leaving the property and traveling westbound on King Street from Harquahala Drive. While enroute to the residence, deputies observed a white Suburban matching the description, made a u-turn and conducted a traffic stop on King Street at Highway 95.

Deputies observed miscellaneous items in containers in the rear of the vehicle and on the floor of the passenger side. During conversations the driver said the items were for a garage sale. Another deputy proceeded to the residence on Harquahala Drive and determined a burglary had taken place. The driver and passenger were taken into custody and taken to the residence. A male victim, 57, identified all of the items as belonging to him.

Deputies arrested John Leon Hutchison, 48, and Sheena Jean Greathouse Farmer, 20, both of Mohave Valley, each arrested for burglary, a felony. They were both booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
