1 Fatal injury in ATV accident

Horizon Six (South of Lake Havasu City) - Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded at about 4:00 p.m. Wednesday 11/11 to an ATV injury accident. Deputies quickly learned that the residence on Little Finger Road was the nearest residence to the accident and no one in the group riding together had a cell phone.

Deputies also learned that Leonard Eisenman, 59, of Lake Havasu City, was driving his all terrain vehicle with his wife as passenger. The riders were climbing a steep hill when Eisenman and his wife tumbled over backwards as they approached the top.

Eisenman was airlifted to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas where he was later pronounced dead. Eisenman’s wife Linda Thomas, 58, suffered cuts and abrasions. She was transported to Havasu Regional Medical Center where she was treated and released. The accident remains under investigation.
