Local Girl Scout Troop 2118 “Goin’ Green”
In an effort to become more environmentally aware the local Girl Scout Troop 2118 has decided to clean up our community and help fund the troop’s archery range buy turning in the aluminum cans and plastic bottles for cash. The archery field will be available not only to area Girl Scouts troops, but to all community residents as well.
Call for Help! Because of the cost for equipment, approximately $1,300.00, needed and the small amount of cash recyclables collected we have decided to expand our efforts and ask for community involvement in a recycling effort. The troop will deliver a large trash can (refundable $10.00 deposit required) to anyone who would like to join our efforts. We will provide a list of items we can/cannot except and come by to collect your recyclables once a week. The monies collected from this effort will be used to purchase the equipment needed.
